Sharon poet Ina Anderson will offer a 6-part poetry workshop series for beginning through experienced poets. Meeting at the Seven Stars Arts Center, sessions are scheduled on the 2nd Wed of each month from 7-9 PM: 5/9, 6/13, 7/11, 8/8, 9/12, 10/10, and 11/14. She promises fun-filled generative sessions where participants will respond to prompts then share useful feedback in a friendly, supportive setting. A $10 donation for each session is suggested.

Ina Anderson grew up in Cumbria, in northern England. She has lived in Sharon, Vermont, for many years. She worked as a technical editor for several scientific journals, first in London and then in the U.S., then turned to teaching writing, communication, and literature. Ina’s poems have appeared in several publications, including Mountain Troubadour, Red Fox Poets, and a recent anthology, Perhaps It Was the Pie. She was awarded the Arthur Wallace Peach Memorial Prize by the Poetry Society of Vermont. Her first poetry collection, Journey Into Space, was published by Antrim House in 2016.
