McCaffrey, Coane & Rowell with
special guest Jim Rooney
Friday, February 17, 2023
McCaffrey, Coane & Rowell (also referred to as “MCR” or “The Country Law Firm of...”) is a trio consisting of Colin McCaffrey on electric lead guitar/fiddle/vocals; Danny Coane on acoustic rhythm guitar/vocals and Dave Rowell on electric bass/vocals. Their musical repertoire features vintage, classic country, bluegrass, rockabilly and western swing. They use the “song swap” method of performance, moving from one member to the other with solo, duet and trio vocals.
These boys, all native Vermonters, are long-time friends and musical colleagues possessing many years of professional experience performing in various groups. They first got together as a casual, informal trio in 2017 and quickly discovered their ability to deliver
the goods off-the-cuff. Their occasional personal appearances resulted in much audience interest and appreciation, even without having any social media presence or recordings, resulting in them being in demand for small venue
and private party performances.
