Spencer Lewis, Pappy Biondo, and Eric Graham continue their shared explorations performing music to celebrate the release of Spencer’s latest album - Of Spirit and Friends, where Lewis has honored those close to him who have passed, along with his backwoods anthems and spiritual optimism.
Lewis’ introspective, old-time, grass-tinged songs are driven by his inimitable cross-flat-picking guitar style and Pappy Biondo’s epic banjo riffs, weave and climb in a swirl of melodic tonal modality. Biondo’s guitar and vocals are accompanied by Lewis’ fiddle and violin re-interpreting traditional roots music in their own freewheelin’ style while Eric Graham plays the fretless electric bass adding another dimension with fearless creativity. A melting pot of Americana and folk that rocks!
