Andrew Finn Magill and Anya Hinkle
Friday, March 1st

Andrew Finn Magill is a renowned fiddle virtuoso. His music is influenced by Irish, old-time, bluegrass, Malawian Afro-pop, and Brazilian choro music. Andrew grew up studying Irish, old-time, and bluegrass with dozens of the best fiddlers in the world every summer at The Swannanoa Gathering in Asheville, North Carolina and has been featured on PBS, NPR, and MTV.

Asheville, NC-based roots artists Anya Hinkle (vocals, guitar) is an Americana singer-songwriter. Born in the Appalachian Mountains of Virginia, Anya’s music is steeped in the tones of folk and bluegrass and seasoned by travels across the world with vivid storytelling, vibrant musicianship, and arresting honesty.

Anya and Andrew team up for an intimate exploration of acoustic music, rooted in the sounds of Appalachia and seasoned by travels across the globe. Just back from tours in Japan, Denmark, Sweden, and all across the US this year, this powerful duo presents a surprisingly dynamic range of styles and influences.
