Country Dance
After Dudley Laufman's appearance at Seven Stars Arts Center last summer, when he called a few dances to the delight of the audience, woodwind teacher Chris Rua suggested that it was high time we held a country dance of our own. So here it is! We know that square dances used to be held in the building when it was a Grange Hall, and we hope that lots of folks will come out to join in the fun.
Saturday, April 22nd from 7:30 to 9:30 PM
David Millstone will call a mix of English and American dances, Contras and Squares
Live music with Aaron Marcus on keyboard and concertina, Emerson Gale on fiddle and Chris Rua on winds.
All dances are taught. Beginners are welcome!
Tickets at the door are on a sliding scale, $10-$20 with those under 12 free.
