SSAC POLICY REGARDING DOGS IN ALL SPACES IN THE BUILDING

Trained service dogs are allowed in the SSAC.

Requests for bringing other dogs into the building will be considered case by case basis based on the following criteria: 

1. What are the extenuating circumstances that require the owner to bring their dog. 

2. The dog will be on a leash and under full control at all times whether in public areas or in a class.

3. The teacher must agree to having the dog and, if the dog will be attending a class, all students must also agree. 

4. The dog will be allowed on a trial basis for one or two classes and permanent permission will be
granted if there are no problems.

5. The Board will ask for feedback from the teacher in making this decision.
